Look what I got!

I won this Wacom Bamboo Medium on Newgrounds. I participated in a simple competitions and I won. The Wacom Bamboo is much better then I expected. Much better then my Graphire 4 that is! It has a mouse, extra pentips, a pen holder and this cool swirly thing that lets you zoom in and out. Same as an Ipod, but now it glows all blue! Huray! Here's a picture:


Newgrounds is a great place to post your work, you'll always get at least a few thousend views the first two days, and a lot of comments. Also, you get extra views on your website or blog by people who are interested in the rest of your work. Sure Newgrounds contains a lot of crappy stuff too, but that's all the same on Youtube/Vimeo/Blogspot and pretty much any place on the internet.

Oh and check out the Coloring Page Maker i created too, it has music and all that stuff now as well.

Long post, I know, but this week was also the week in which my 250th comic was published in the paper. I won't bother scanning in the paper since it is in Dutch and all that. But here's comic nr. 250 translated in English, just for you!

The Wowzini Brothers

Someone needed inspiration for a winter cartoon. I drew these two brothers, the wowzini brothers. I won't go explaining much more. I just wanted to share it quickly! :)

Hafftube 2009

Droomwevers - Ijsbeer (The polar bear) got nominated for Hafftube 2009. It didn't win, but that figures, the competition was big! But it was fun participating!

This is the last one of the vendingmachine series. You might wonder "vendingmachines? What does that have to do with this animation or animation at all??"... It's a long story! Don't hurt your brain on it, it's not worth it...

Anyway, this time I tried out a full 3D animation. Fun!

Animation Class

Today I gave an animation class to 18 children. As a part of the class we made a pixilation! Everyone had a role. Things were a bit chaotic at first, but the overall result was pretty good! Anyway, the kids had loadsa' fun!

Okay, now this is work from a year ago, but I still wanted to share it now! We made this great fun little puppet short. So no animation for a change.

Annecy 2009

I was at the Annecy animation festival this year! (third year in a row). And whadaya know? I saw some great animations and met great people. Offcourse there was loadsa' sun and here ya go: a panorama of the lake Annecy I shot.

Oyster animation test

I've been working on a project for a while now, called Spooky Island (Spook eiland in Dutch). It's an interactive point 'n click game for children.
